Hello! My name is Dunja (pronounced doon-yah) and I’m a freelance illustrator from Rome, Italy. I specialise inchildren’s illustrationandgraphic recording(also known aslive illustration). I draw using both digital and traditional techniques. I’m a wizard in visual story telling.

As a picturebook illustratorI’ll surprise you with capturing subtle nuances of emotions and convincingly expressing movements and interactions. Personifying animals with a touch of humour is my thing.

As a graphicrecorder/live illustratorI’ll convey the essence of your talk and bring it to life in a memorable and engaging way!

I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where I graduated in Painting and Mosaics. Afterwards, I won a specialisation scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Since then I’ve been living in Italy.
I have studied children’s book illustration with Claire Alexander,The Good Ship IllustrationandGiuseppe Castellano. I have also completed a live illustration course withKatie Chappell.
